How to upload receipts with the mobile app
With Bokio's mobile app, you can easily take a picture and upload receipts and other materials straight to your To do list in Bokio.
The app is available to download free for both Apple and Android devices. Go to the Google Play Store or App Store and search for "Bokio" and you'll find it.
Photograph your material
Log in with your Bokio account, select a company (if you have more than one), click on the camera icon and take a picture of your receipts and invoices.
Upload from your gallery
Have you received an invoice by email or taken a picture on a previous occasion? Then you can download the image directly from your mobile gallery. For formats other than image files (for example, PDF) you can take a screenshot with your mobile.
You can also share files to the Bokio app with a share extension. This means you can share files from your email, photos, Cloud or Drive with just a few clicks.
Press the share button on the file you want, then choose the Bokio app option. You'll then be able to upload the file Bokio from the app.
Add more pages
Sometimes the material you want to add has more than one page. Once you've taken a picture or downloaded from your gallery, simply click "Add Page" to add more pages to your material.
Categorise and add description
Take photos or choose a photo from the gallery. To select a category and description, click “Select” in the upper right corner.
Select the category and scroll down to add a description (optional). The description will only be visible in your To do list.
The description is especially good if you let someone else do your bookkeeping. By writing a description, it becomes an even smoother process for your accountant when they are recording your transactions.
Automatically sync with your To do list
As soon as you save the material, it is automatically uploaded to your To Do list in Bokio. In the app you see all the documents in your list that have not yet been recorded.
Go to Bokio on the web
When you’re ready to record your items, it's time to go to Bokio on the web. There you can record the material that’s waiting for you in your To do list.
